RAY'S Fit/Feel assessment: The GR9 is fairly similar to the overall structure and fit of the GR8. Forefoot comfort in the GR9 is an improvement over the GR8 due to a better design for the PGuard anti-abrasion coating This gives the GR9 a little extra room out front for the toes. Also, the forefoot cushioning seems more resilient and plush. If you loved the the GR8, you are going to really love the GR9.
